/Bio

I first got into the world of photography in October 2013. Since then, I've been hooked.

Over the years I have had access to incredible opportunities such as a National Geographic photography trip, taking photos for a local organization called Break the Silence End the Stigma, doing volunteer event photography in my community, and so much more. Through these opportunities, I have been able to refine my skills, learn from new people, and make connections that I would never have dreamt of before I first picked up my camera.

I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Community Development and Environmental and Sustainability Studies program at Acadia University. Despite not having chosen to study photography, I work hard to incorporate it into my life and my school work, and appreciate the ways that photovoice and other photography methods can support community work.

I believe that photography is an incredibly important way to share stories, ideas, realities, and who people are. I strive to make sure all my work reflects the word and its people as they are.
